- Setting out governance structures to manage approval processes
- Converting masterplans into capital investment plans with phasing scenarios and business cases
Forster Associates have worked with a number of major Clients to convert business strategies into a long-term development visions and masterplans. This has involved setting out the process for developing the masterplan and the procurement of the professional team to implement the process. These masterplans include the business cases for the masterplan as a whole and the individual parts, and set out the phasing against the projected business demands. We also have considerable knowledge of how internal and external stakeholders should be identified and managed through this process.
Successful masterplanning requires an appropriate governance structure to ensure the right decisions are made at the right level within an organisation. Without it decisions will take too long or run the risk of not being supported. We have experience of developing the right governance structures for businesses and for large-scale development programmes, and can advise accordingly.
Ultimately masterplans are delivered through a programme of projects. Masterplans need to be converted into phased capital investment plans where each component is clearly accounted for within the business case
